A trade fair (trade show or expo) is an exhibition organized so that companies in a specific industry can showcase and demonstrate their latest products, service, study activities of rivals and examine recent trends and opportunities. Some trade fairs are open to the public, while others can only be attended by company representatives (members of the trade) and members of the press, therefore trade shows are classified as either "Public" or "Trade Only". They are held on a continuing basis in virtually all markets and normally attract companies from around the globe. For example, in the U.S. there are currently over 2500 trade shows held every year, and several online directories have been established to help organizers, attendees, and marketers identify appropriate events. Trade fairs in historyModern trade fairs follow in the tradition of trade fairs established in late medieval Europe, in the era of merchant capitalism. In this era, produce and craft producers visited towns for trading fairs, to sell and showcase products. From Wikipedia under the

CITES bans trade of endangered species. the most endangered species will be under appendix 1 - illegel trade And the other two appendixes are more towards controlled trade. It's sad though because once an animal is placed in appendix 2 it usually ends up in appendix 1 because over over exploitation. These website mentions the African Elephant... The answer is "C" because money makes the world go round. Everything from the "moral" issue of slavery to the right to vote was principly decided upon by the economics of the era. More people buying land would have given a reason to vote, aka boost in land / housing market. Q. I have a trade show at the Sands Convention Center but difficulties with walking long distance. It was told that Embassy Suites was besides the Sands Convention hall but someone told me it is at the large convention hall north at las Vegas? Can someone help me here or what hotel (besides Venetian - too expensive) is a good situation for me? Thanks a lot!!! :-) Asked by Paul P - Sat Sep 5 09:30:01 2009 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. Embassy Suites is about 2/3 mile. One of the Harrah's hotels (either Harrah's or Imperial Palace is a nearby inexpensive option. The walk is a lot less than 2/3 mile and there are escalators and moving walkways to help. Answered by Paco - Sat Sep 5 13:16:35 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Trade convention" |
